The Bridgeway Church is led by a team of men and women who are passionate about making Jesus known and making disciples of Jesus. Here are a few of the people who serve the rest of the church as we develop and grow in our gifts as followers of Jesus:
Adam Rochford: Elder / Pastor for Preaching & Pastoral Care
Stockport born and bred, you’d think Adam had been here all his life! His positive and energetic nature have added life and joy to Bridgeway, and when he arrived at Bridgeway it added another City supporter to our ranks. Deep down and more importantly, Adam loves Jesus and wants to make him known. He helps to lead one of our Stockport CG’s.
Danny Burgess: Elder / Pastor for Worship & Community
Danny Burgess, is as hard working as they come. He’s got a couple jobs in the medical field, and at the same time leads us in our worship development as a church. He helps keep the Bridgeway community
grounded in the gospel in all we sing and do, while helping to lead one of our Stockport CG’s. A man of many flavours, he supports Nigeria, England & is a long suffering, but currently contented City supporter.
Mark Thornley: Deacon of Finance & Facilities, Trustee & Community Group Leader (Glossop)
When he’s not watching his beloved QPR struggle to not get relegated, Mark is running his business & farm, running on the basketball court, and running to meet all the practical and financial needs of the church.
Watch out for his quick wit and his charming smile.
James Coetzee-Suddaby: Community Group Leader (Rochdale)
James, (aka “Panache) is the quickest window cleaner in the Northwest and used his entrepreneurial skills to convince his
lass from Scotland to move to Rochdale and start a family and community group with him. Don’t sleep on his hip hop skills that are still in full form.
Get in touch for a barbecue in “Cassie” (Castelon), his favourite part of Rochdale.
Though she is a busy single mum, Sonja has volunteered her time to help keep us organised as a church. She uses her German efficiency to keep us in check! Contact her on: firstname.lastname@example.org
Kirk Crager: Founding Pastor (Vision & Mission)
“The American.” Yes, our founding pastor was from America. But he was here in Greater Manchester 14 years and so we’ve dubbed him an honorary Manc….just don’t ask him to try the accent, it’s painful to hear. Kirk’s heart was and is to see the gospel advance over all 10 boroughs of Manchester and he preached, taught and worked with passion, in the grace God gave him, in order to see our local church established and work towards being a church planting church.
