As the coronavirus pandemic continues, we have sought advice on what we should be doing about services, gatherings and events. While it is up to each independent church to interpret Government advice for themselves, we believe protecting the most vulnerable means everyone should be avoiding large gatherings of people.
So, in light of the statement from Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Bridgeway Church has taken the decision to postpone our usual Sunday gathering for an initial period of four weeks, then reassess this on a rolling monthly basis as the situation unfolds and government advice is updated. We plan to upload our sermons on to the website each week.
Our current sermon series is on the book of John. Check out our sermon page to have a listen!
Please keep checking the website for the latest info. The leaders will of course still be available for communication, so feel free to get in touch. In all this, we need to keep praying, remembering God is sovereign and that Jesus is the Good Shepherd who will continue to pastor his people, by his word, through his Spirit.
Under normal circumstances…
We eat together, we sing, we chill, and we learn from the Bible where we believe God speaks to us.
We have lots of kids! And plenty of DBS-checked helpers, activities and snacks to keep them busy.
We normally meet at Dial Park Hall, Alfreton Road, Stockport SK2 5LU
